Affiliate Marketing

One of the ways that a lot of webmasters make a few dollars with their websites is throught the means of affiliate marketing. Affiliates marketing is when you sell a service or product for someone else. Like all those Amazon ads you see on various websites. The owner of the website signs up to become an affiliate and when someone clicks the link and buys a book for example, the website owner will get a percentage of the sale.

Commissions vary from program to program. Most of these programs are monitored and administered through a 3rd party like Sharesale or Commission Junction. These companies track the clicks and sales and pay you your share.

Aside from getting sales commissions from vendors, some affiliate programs offer what is called tiered programs. These are programs that allow you to have sub affiliates.
Let's say you are selling books and I come along to your website and say, "Hey, I'd like to sell that on my site." I click your link to the sales page, sign up to become an affiliate also and when I make a sale, YOU get a percentage also. It's much like an MLM program that offers residual income from the efforts of others. You have to have a large a site that gets a lot of hits and sells a lot of products before you will notice any difference with multi-tiered affiliates. Affilates seem to give up quick. That is one of the problems with the internet. You do have to be very aggressive and stick with it. That is why have niche websites are so valuable. You get that unquie traffic that is looking for that specific item and once they are on your site you have the product they need.

MLM - Network Marketing
MLM. Multi level marketing. It's been around for many years. Long before the internet, MLM or network marking was a way to be self employed at home. A lot of programs were designed for stay at home moms. Like Avon. Some ladies got into selling Avon or Tupperware to make a few extra dollars. Some of these ladies made a lot of money. Infact when talking to a fella one day he was telling us about his mom. She had been selling Watkins products for years. Over time she had grown to such staure within the organization that she was given a free car every year for outstanding sales. And then he goes on to say that she doesn't even sell anymore. She had so many signed up under her in a downline that they were doing all the work and she was just an upline. True residual income. It is possible. Even today.

There are lots of these types of programs popping up daily on the internet. Sadly a lot of them are just scams or sell totally useless stuff. The best advise is if you don't use it there is not much use in selling it. We promote something that has a HUGE potential. Everyone know about Google Ads. Google is a multi BILLION dollar corporation. How did they get that way? Click ads. People clicking on ads. That's it. Pretty simple huh? I have written a page on the google ad cash system. You can read up a bit more on it just by Clicking Here!

I really don't do much for MLM networking online. I am however involved with one program and have been involved with it since it started back in November or 2007. The program is called Silver Snowball. It is like a coin of the month program. Each month I buy a 1 ounce American Silver Eagle coin. I tell others about this program and ounce they become a member by buying a coin each month I get rewarded with free coins. So for every 2 coins I sell each month I get 1 free coin. If only 1 person joins I get a half or a coin for that month. After 2 months of course I will have earned 1 full coin.

The coins are shipped right to my mail box each and every month. Right now after 2 yeas or so I am still receiving my silver coin along with an average of 4 bonus coins each month. So for me it like buying 1 and getting 4. Silver is a great investment to have going forward into the new decade of 2010 and beyond. If you are interested in a small private run program be sure to check it out.
